About Us:

Alison Solar, Owner and Designer of Solara Designs, Inc has been involved in the Interior Design Field since 1992. Prior to Studying Interior Design at New York City's Fashion Institute of  Technology she worked in NYC's Garment District for many years.

As a young woman, Alison studied art at the High School of Art & Design also located in NYC.  She attended Saturday Study groups at Parsons and the Metropolitan Museum.  Always as a child she was sketching and drawing everywhere she went. Always a pen and paper in tow.

Through the years Alison has developed her Interior Design skills to specialize in Kitchen & Bathroom Design in the  New York Metro area.  Focusing on Residential New Construction all the way to major home renovations.
